Fire protection is already built into our homes. In wildfire-prone communities, the danger often starts outside—with the roof, landscaping, and surrounding property exposed to wind-driven embers.

Daniel’s wildland firefighting experience and Gracia’s background in software and technology gave them two perspectives on the same problem.
​
They founded WildfireX to give homeowners a practical way to prepare before fire arrives, with the belief that exterior wildfire protection should become a standard part of protecting a home.

Daniel knows firefighters can’t be at every home when wildfire strikes.Â
But a system built by one can already be there—ready to help protect yours.

A former wildland firefighter with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, Daniel has seen the impact wildfire can have on communities firsthand.

He brings decades of business and operational leadership to WildfireX, with a career spanning business development, operations, project management, oil exploration, and cryogenic technologies.
